About Downtown Jebel Ali
Downtown Jebel Ali is a mixed-use district beside Sheikh Zayed Road in Jebel Ali, Dubai's western district. It was first marketed in 2006 by Limitless, then the real estate arm of Dubai World, which described an urban centre of about 200 hectares divided into four zones along an 11-kilometre stretch of road. In recent years developers including Azizi Developments and Deyaar have launched apartment buildings in the area, some completed and others still under construction.
Azizi Developments completed Aura in December 2020, an 18-storey freehold building of 479 apartments made up of studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units. Deyaar launched ELEVE in February 2024: a 33-floor residential tower with studios to three-bedroom apartments, four floors of covered parking and service areas, and a ground-floor retail arcade. Deyaar schedules construction completion of ELEVE for Q2 2027, so it remains under development.
Deyaar says ELEVE connects directly to Sheikh Zayed Road and lists the Jebel Ali industrial area, Jebel Ali Port, Al Furjan, Discovery Gardens, Palm Jebel Ali, Dubai South, Al Maktoum International Airport and Expo City Dubai as nearby. For public transport, Azizi places Aura at the doorstep of the Red Line station then called UAE Exchange; the RTA has since renamed it Life Pharmacy Metro Station.
